We all know that making a living from the written word is easier said than done. Give yourself a leg-up by entering some writing competitions, you never know who may stumble across your work one day. It's all about shamelessly publicizing yourself...

Couldn't have put it better ourselves! Us writer's do, indeed, have to stick together.
We're not part of a bigger website (yet...) We're planning on getting a good base of users, so that we can expand upon our basic principle: a creative writing workshop where users upload, comment, critique and help other writer's to achieve their goals.
